Hi team

I would like to edit an existing Feature Manager List located in WHM at :

Home » Packages » Feature Manager » Edit Feature List

Specifically, I would like to do either one of the following;
  1. save the existing list as a new name, or
  2. edit the saved name, or
  3. be able to duplicate the selected list and save as another name.

But I can't see how to do any of those - please can you advise if any of the above are possible and how!!

Thanks

- Type a name for your new Features Listing into the "Add a New Feature List" form.
- Open the newly created Feature List you just created and tick the "Select all features for: yourFLnamehere."
- Deselect the items you don't want on this new list, and save.
- Create a new Package, and select this new list you created to be associated with that Package.
- Or, edit an Existing package and assign this new Features List to that Package.

From shell:

cp /var/cpanel/features/%source_feature_list_name% /var/cpanel/features/%new_feature_list_name%

Now, you can reload the Feature Manager in your WHM and edit %new_feature_list_name%

@Infopro

Thanks for your reply - that seems to be a copy/paste of an instruction on how to create a list.

It does not answer my question:

You can't edit an existing Feature List, you'll need to create one.
That is a better answer, (though not ideal!) thank you.
So now - why not / how can we request this!

@sparek-3

From shell:

cp /var/cpanel/features/%source_feature_list_name% /var/cpanel/features/%new_feature_list_name%

Now, you can reload the Feature Manager in your WHM and edit %new_feature_list_name%
Thanks - so this will allow me duplicate it - I will give it a try.
