Renewing an SSL certificate

Hello,

I need to renew the third party certified ssl certificate of one of my domains. Renewing it in the certificate provider's website is enough?

Or do I need to make any changes in the ssl section of WHM?. I mean the provider will give us a new certificate and we need to install it in the WHM again?. Please let me know.

Yes you have to install it again.

You would need to reinstall the certificate after renewal from WHM as if you are installing a new certificate.

Yes. The certificate has the dates that it is valid, coded into it, so a renewal means the certificate authority must issue a new certificate, and you must install the new certificate. Otherwise, the same old certificate that now has bad validity dates will still be used on your site.

Yes. Renewing a certificate is just like purchasing a new one. Your certificate authority (CA) will be able to tell you exactly what they need you to do.
