one of our clients tried to install webmin on a cpanel server of theirs which has caused big problems and now cpanel will not run. we have uninstalled webmin and attempted to reinstall cpanel with no luck. we cant find any /scripts that may help. some of the files seem to be missing including /etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel3. what should we do?

reinstall with a fresh download from cpanel website. This should help.

i have fixed the problem with a fresh install of cpanel. some files were not recovered including /etc/init.d/cpanel3 but we just copied this from another server which worked fine.

i dont think it was webmin as we installed this with cpanel on a test server. the client must have done more then just install webmin.

    thank you for your replies.
