    Hello,

I host 4000 domains on my server WHM and I just finnish my migration.

The problem is when I want to do a ping on all domains, after 2000 ping request, I can't do more ping request.

Is it possible that my server block me because I do too many ping?

I checked the iptable but I cannot find something.

Do you know there is a kind of protection?

    Hello,

If you want to check if all domains are pointing to your server or not then instead of ping I suggest you to use host command.

Let's assume all domains are filled in one file called file.txt.

Then use following command on linux server.

    for i in `cat file.txt`;do host $i | grep 'not found\|has address'>> output.txt; done

In this way you will have record of all domains and IP where they are pointing in the file output.txt .

    Regards,
    Sagar.
