Hi everybody

I have a question regardig bandwidth and reseller accounts in WHM. How does it work? If i set up a reseller account with maximum 100 mb in bandwith and the reseller creates two accounts, one with 5 mb and one unlimited. What happens? Will the reseller and the user with unlimited bandwidth share 95 megs? Will the user with 5 mb have the 5 mb reserved if the reseller and other user exeed the bandwidth?

Reseller > 100% of 100MB

Reseller > Creates Account 5MB - Reseller now has 95% of 100MB left to allocate (unless overselling is enabled, but lets keep it basic)

Reseller > Creates Unlimited Account - DENIED (if the reseller is set up correctly to prevent them setting up unlimited accounts)

A reseller can only assign (if setup correctly and ignoring overselling) 100% of its allocation. It can not exceed that.

Even when overselling is enabled it can not exceed that but overselling would allow the 100MB to be shared as much as it needs to be, once it's gone its gone.
