Hey,

my account is reseller, when I login to my accounts via the port 2082 and go to the databases it ask me to put the username and password, unlike the other accounts, it not asking for a password.

How do I solve this?

Hello :)

If you are logged into cPanel with the account username and password, even if that account is set as a reseller, additional authentication is not required for MySQL. Additional authentication would only be required if you are logged into another account using the root or reseller password. For example:

username: cpuser1
password: account-password

In the above scenario, additional authentication is not required for MySQL.

username: cpuser1
password: reseller-password

In the above scenario, additional authentication is required for MySQL.

Thank you.

Okay but even I logged in with the cpuser and reseller pass it will never take me to the phpmyadmin, it required to put the database username and password unlike when I log in with cpuser and account pass, I press phpmyadmin, it fly me to the list of DB's so how I can allow the reseller account to view the list of his db's when I logged in via 2082?

Thanks,

That is the intended behavior. If you are logging in with the account username and the reseller password, access to MySQL is not granted automatically. The only time using the reseller password will allow you access to MySQL privileges is if it's for the actual reseller username.
