    Hi,

Is it possible to backup the reseller account settings and nameservers etc ? When the server goes down etc and needs a complete new install, and the other sites are read in from the backups, I have to manually go in and totally recreate each and every resellers accounts, nameservers and everything, surely their is a file or something I can backup, that when I put back resets it all as was ?

    Cheers

I don't know about this problem, but we had some similar one.

We had to upgrade from RH6.1, so we decided for RH7.2. after the complete rebuild, we put back the reseller privileges, and after the first acc we clicked on Change ownership of acc, all the accounts were lost.

None of the accs appeared in the list accounts, e-mail, httpd, ftp - all broke down.

Is this a bug or was it something else??

    Did someone encounter similar problems??

There must be a directory we can backup that holds all this information, so in the event of a full re-install we can install from backups, then copy the directory back over and bingo ! The resellers and what not are back as they were !

So backing up those files, and replacing after a full install would put everything back in order ?
