Hi there,

First of all sorry for my english, it's not my first language :

I currently use :

Cpanel 5.2.0-S109
RedHat 7.2

All of our hosting package have a dedicated IP address ... i add a reseller account with these privilege :

- Unlimited Amount of account
- Account Creation
- Account Suspension
- Account Termination
- Account Upgrades
- Add Domains
- Allow Creation of Packages with Shell Access
- Allow Creation of Packages with a Dedicated IP
- Allow creation of packages with Parked Domains
- Enabling/Disabling FrontPage Extensions
- Enabling/Disabling SSL Support
- List Accounts
- News Modification
- Park Domain
- Password Modification
- Reset Shopping Cart
- Turn an account into a demo account
- View Account Bandwidth Usage
- View Account Statistics
- View Server Status

This reseller have is own Name Server : ns1 and ns2

Under Manage Reseller Ip Delegation the option :

Allow bearm to use any avalible ip address

IS checked

The problem is : When the reseller add a new client (with our hosting plan), the created account have a shared IP address not a dedicated ....

I try on different hosting package, and it's always the same IP address who are delegate ....

MY question is :

What i have to do to give to our reseller dedicated IP address and not shared IP ?

I forgot to check something ?

Regards,

Dany Boucher

You cannot use that setup or you'll screwup your whole Server.

Only allow the Reseller to use the IPs allocated to them. And under 'Manage Reseller Main Shared/Ipless Ip' make sure to select the correct IP address -- usually NS1 or NS2 of the Reseller.

I'm having a similar problem, I need to change existing account IPs to a reseller's IP. Can I do this from the control panel or do I need to edit something in shell? And if so how would I do so?

Thanks!

Changing an existing account IP to something else is available through WHM using: Change Account IP or similar type wording.
