Hello... I've got a problem... one month ago I deleted a reseller account from the server. Now the client wants to come back, but he does not remember all the cpanel's login on his reseller account.

How do I see this? Is there any log that I can see what account were inside that reseller?

    Regards,
    Joao Nunes

    Hello,

You have deleted his account one month ago, so now the only possibility to recover his account details is restore his account from backup IF AND ONLY IF you have backup present on server. So check the backup in WHM and if his accounts backup is present in monthly backup then you can restore his whole account

    Right...

Ok... but how do I restore it if the client do not remember the login of the cpanel of that accounts?

I need to know that to restore all the accounts from this reseller.

    Hello,

All you have to do is go to WHM >> Restore Backups >> Monthly
There select the user name of the reseller account which is generally first 8 characters of the domain name. Select the username and click on restore and all the accounts will be restored then you can change the accounts password from whm using "password modification" option and provide the new login details to your client.

If you are having your hosting account with some hosting company then they should do this for you, we generally do this for our clients :)

    I know, but...

I know how to restore... the problem is that I don't know the login of cpanel of the accounts! He was a reseller.

Is there any kind way to see on logs?

    Hello,

When you restore the accounts, you can see the domains under his account from Reseller Center. Then all you have to do is change the passwords of that accounts under his reseller account from "Password Modification" option and you are done.

Open /var/cpanel/accounting.log and search for DELRESELLER. You should find the entry matching your reseller account, then all next entries within the same time frame should be his accounts.

Hello... yes! That's it... I found the accounts on the log:

    /var/cpanel/accounting.log

    Thanks for the help!
