Hello i have a huge problem with Resellers. I run a small company and i offer resellers. The problem is i offer overselling and make the resellers own their own accounts. I got 2 questions.

1. If i enabled overselling and make the reseller sole owner of it self they can change their own quote and go over the limit. If i disable the quote modification option they can still upgrade their own account. Any way i can fix this? Because if a reseller package lets say is 60 GB space he can change to like 7000 GB (i tested it)

2. If i disable the option for a reseller to be the sole owner of it self does the accounts under the reseller quote usage is counted under the reseller it self or the root which owns the reseller?

Thanks in advance.

When you enable overselling, you are permitting any account owned by that reseller to have their quotas set to anything. With overselling, only when actual disk and bandwidth consumption exceeds their reseller quota are they considered to be over their reseller limit. Remember, the only repercussion of exceeding reseller limits is the reseller is unable to create new accounts, this does not suspend any accounts (unless individual cPanel accounts exceed their individual quotas).

The reseller's usage would be counted towards their reseller account, not root, even when they do not own their own account.
