I have a reseller who, through the reseller centre is limited to 25 account and 2,000 MB space, 20,000 MB transfer. Overselling is enabled

Looking in the stats he has 29 accounts and is using 2.9GB space.

Should I receive a notice, or his account be restricted? I believe he can still create new accounts.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jon

You can test with /script/upcp --force

    Greetings.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice. This hasn't changed the issue.

    overselling on

with overselling on you set whm to basically ignore the setup limits.

Where you setup the levels for when you get an email (i forget the link off hand) you may want to check that you are setup to get that alert.

The reseller was moved, many months ago.

The overselling shows in the client panel and should record actual rather than allocated space.

Notifications can be customized in WHM -> Server Contacts -> Contact Manager :)

The Account Limit restriction should have prevented that as it over-rules the Resource limits. What is your full cPanel version number?

Testing on 11.23.6-C26790 confirms that the Account Limit restriction does prevent this.

As for Resource Limits, new accounts should also be restricted by those. Have you confirmed that the reseller is able to create new accounts using the WHM interface despite the restrictions?
