    Hello,

    I would like my reseller accounts to be able to user their own name servers.
    so if someone signed up with the domain example.com i would like it so it would auto setup ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com
    i already have my name servers set up at ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com

    I would like to not have to purchase any more ip's for this to happen.
    is their any way i could just have them point their name servers to the same ip as mydomain's name servers are pointed? or what would be the easiest way to go about this?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hello Jay:),

    Please login as root into your server and use this procedure
    ============
    --> move into Main >> Resellers >> Reseller Center
    --> choose Select a Reseller:Your_resller and then click on edit Nameservers/privileges
    --> find for Dns and check to ADD, EDIT, REMOVE or PARK.
    =============
    Your Reseller should now be able to do what you want :cool:

    Haha :p
    How does hostgator do this then?
    because i know with a lot of hosting companies reseller accounts get their own nameservers also....
    does this mean they buy more ip adresses for the reseller accounts?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Typically, when I see reseller plans that include custom nameservers, I do see the plans including 3 IPs (2 for nameservers, 1 to share for all the websites on that plan).
