Hi,

I am moving a reseller account to my dedicated and I want to keep the same nameservers and change only the IP's.

Both servers are CPanel.

I have moved the main account (the reseller one) from the old location to the new location.

I added reseller privileges.

When I try to allocate the IP's for ns1 and ns2 I receive the message &ns1... already have the IP 1.2.3.4& which is the old IP.

What should I do in this situation ?

Thank you for your help.

Make sure you update the IPs for your nameservers w/ your domain registrar..

But how do I get the IP's ?

Yes, but how do I know the Ip's if I cannot allocate them in WHM ?

I receive the message below:

Sorry, the nameserver ns1.***.com already has the ip 216.180.x.x assigned to it.

You have to manually edit the /etc/nameserverips file -- which is readonly by default.
