I am currently with a host as a reseller. They allow me to upload my custom Cpanel to my own account directory, and then somehow point Cpanel to my directory so that it shows up in WHM when you assign a new account a CPanel theme. Well I have an account on another host, but they don't know how to do it. Does anyone know how to do this, so I can explain to them. I don't want to ask my current host how to do it because I will be leaving shortly. Thanks

questions for Nick or someone who knows what I'm talking...

Just a question ...

cpanel runs as ... cpanel user right?
is not dangerous to use other non tested cpanel themes ?
I mean, what if they put some php code on it ... can someone using this method do something bad ??

Also ...
suppose you have 10 clients, each one with their custom cpanel theme ...
can you make that each reseller see only their theme ?
or all 10 resellers will see the 10 themes ?

Regards.

I dont have too much experiance with the way cPanel themes work. But, I do not think you can put any PHP code or anything of tht nature. The user 'cpanel' I dont think has superuser privaliges. So far, all resellers can see all themes.

Will this work for WHM also?

ln -s /home/username/WHMtheme /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/theme/

Will this work for root suspended.page?

host.domain.com/suspended.page to home/username/public_html/suspended.page
