resellers seeing whm news and option to update apache

Just got a ticket from a reseller as follows:

"when I login to my Web Host Manager for my domain, it is tilling me this “Security There are no known security problems with the build of cPanel you are using!"

this is on the current release of cpanel, seems to be a problem with the x theme. not good !

I fixed it by uploading the theme from another server.

Yep! I just logged into a CP for one of my Reellers and i see the same thing.

Security There are no known security problems with the build of cPanel you are using!

but........i dont really know if this would be an issue if they knew.

I tell whats really annoying is the MAIN page. Even my Resellers get this page by default. I advertise services and inform my users of new features etc on the Cpanel/NEWS screen and that no longer displays unless the user click on it. This should be the default page, not MAIN.

    Them seeing:
“Security There are no known security problems with the build of cPanel you are using!"

is not a problem, but when there is a problem they will see that to and the links to update apache or cpanel. the links dont work but thats not the point.

personally i dont want resellers to see security warnings at all.

Though you should keep the server updated it is not necessary for the resellers to see that information. Most resellers are not the most technical people and this information would only confuse them.
