Hi; I have searched for an answer to what is presumably a question that only a noobie could ask BUT.

How do I determine how many sites I can host on my very small newly setup reseller account.

I have a 4gb quota with 40gb bandwidth allowance resellers account.

Using WHM in cPanel 11.25 I have setup 3 packages with respectively 750mb quota & 7,500mb bandwidth; 1,250mb quota & 12,500mb bandwidth; finally 2,000mb quota and 20,000mb bandwidth.

How can I determine what quota and bandwidth an indiovidual site will need or use and if I can find an answer to that very - very basic question I can start to sort out the question myself.

I would welcome any advice or indeed direction to suitable study material that you can supply.

Hi again

I realise I am asking a very basic question and my googling hasn't brought any results on my question, unless of course I am using incorrect terms.

I would welcome any advice from all you clever volunteers on the forum.

Best regards

No one can give you reply for above question. You have to monitor your domains bandwidth usage and once you figure out apporxamte bandwidth usage for your doamins. You can create pakckae as per your requremnet. You can create unlimited cPanel hosting accounts with reseller package with respect to the allocated Disk Quota / Bandwidth for your account.

Note :

Basically bandwidth usage for reseller account or any shared hosting plan is count on bandwidth we have been assigned in package which has been assigned to particular account.Once you assigned package to any domain then its reserved for that particular domain, if your domain is using assigned bandwidth or not.

For example if you create a package test_40GB with the 40GB bandwidth and assigned test_40GB package to one of domain hosted under your reseller account then you can't create any new account because you have been assigned whole reseller account bandwidth to that domain name.If your domain is using only 10GB out of 40GB bandwidth in that case you can't use remaining bandwidth to other domains because 40GB is reserved for that domain as per package [test_40GB] you have been assigned.Due to that create package as per domains bandwidth requirement per month. So that you can add maximum number of domains under your reseller account. :)
