As no one remarked on another post I just wanted to clarify something. I have some 'non useable' IP's. Dare I ask when assigning IP's why WHM decides to allocate the non usable (as in ticked as reserved) IP's to an account?
I used to remember when years ago people said things were 'flaky' and as I see it so many what should be simple procedures appear to fall into this category. Surely as a general rule of thumb things should be so straightforward? It seems (to me anyhow) that doing just a simple thing generates a need to look at the forums for guidance.

    Yes AFAIK
However I've merely changed the allocated IP to an account - I guess that will work as all details were updated. However if you try and auto allocate new IP's a resrved (net) IP will be allocated even though ticked as reserved.
