Reset cPanel server initial config issue

Creating a automated template and got to a point where I reset WHM config doing the following:

#rm -rf /etc/.whostmgrft

I then tested it by creating a new vps with the template and it works and gives me the initial config page to reset the basic config.

However the only issue is that this part still stays on old IP:

"The IPv4 address (only one address) to use to set up shared IPv4 virtual hosts"

even though I reset the whm config. How does one get that to be the server IP now or must it be a manual change?

You should update the ADDR entry in /etc/wwwacct.conf to the main IP address for the VPS prior to deploying the server or prior to the installation. If you haven't already seen it, we document some of the best practices to follow when provisioning cPanel & WHM servers at:
