Reset Server Certificates DONT wokr :(

    WHM/CPanel cert expires today, i go to Reset Server Certificates, restart cPanel and nothing still old cert.
    Generating cPanel/WHM SSL certificate ...
    Using random key 4466747
    A new certificate has been generated!

    SSL Certificates have been reset and SSL restarted.


    Still old cert.



    Go to generate certificate, and go do Change Server Certificates add certificate for cPanel/WHM

    and see
    Install SSL Certificates for Application: cpanel
    Attempting to verify your certificate.....
    Cerificate verification passed!
    Verifcation Result [/C=US/ST=lub/L=Mycity/O=Name/OU=none/CN=myhostname.com/emailAddress=my@email.com
    error 18 at 0 depth lookup:self signed certificate
    OK]
    Restarting SSL Support..
    Certificate has been installed!



    Restart cPanel, still see old certificate, WHY? Ever dont have that problems :(

    WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-S120
    RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

    I actually had the exact same problem recently, and I was baffled as to why it would not use the new certificate even when it said all was good.

    Later that week, I upgraded the kernel, rebooted, and then when I logged back into cPanel to see that the new kernel version was working, I noticed that the new certificate worked.

    I dunno, try a reboot, worked for me. :confused:

    Hi,

    For it to work, cPanel needs to be restarted and stunnel, but sometimes stunnel won't die, so you have to ssh in, ps aux|grep stunnel, kill -9 pid and restart cPanel.
