    Hi,

I switched from proftpd to pure-ftpd after the security warning in cpanel. The switch was smooth, however my Restart Services panel in WHM still shows proftpd and not pure-ftpd.

How do I get pure-ftpd to be listed in Restart Services instead of proftpd.

    Thanks.

    proftd not pure-ftpd

I switched to pure-ftp in WHM and see proftpd still running in my ps list.

I restarted the service in the WHM and see the proftpd stop and restart.

I did /etc/init.d/proftpd stop and it stopped.
I did /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd start and it started.

I then did a restart in WHM and the only daemon running is proftpd. Is this correct?

I verified my settings in WHM FTP Configuration shows Installed FTP Server pure-ftpd
