Restarting Exim Mail Server failed

Restarting Exim Mail Server
Waiting for exim to restart..............finished.

exim: [451 != 220]
exim has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

after restarting exim mail server i got above error

how to resolve this issue.

Try the following steps.

1.Check your exim main log file for exact error.

tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

Also check if the size of exim_mainlog is too big.

2. Flush the iptables and try to restart exim.
