Restarting Ftp Server

    Restarting Ftp Server
    Waiting for ftpserver to restart...............finished.

    pure-ftpd (pure-ftpd (SERVER)) running as root with PID 7996
    pure-authd (/usr/sbin/pure-authd -s /var/run/ftpd.sock -r /usr/sbin/pureauth) running as root with PID 7989

    ftpserver has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

    Email sending problem after restart email server it will work.

    how to check multiple Concurred Sessions on the Server may be
    that's why you facing the problem.

    Can you check if ftp is actually running or not?

    Also, see if the port is listening or has any other services on it:

    lsof -i :21
    netstat -an|grep :21
    Next, see if you can retrieve any other error messages:
