Hello
Excuse me if I put my question in an inappropriate place ...
Is there any difference between the "service httpd restart or service mysql restart" command in ssh with the "Restart Services" in WHM?
I heard the words that the command "service httpd restart" in ssh does not kill process. But none of the sources was credible.
In general, I wanted to see the "Restart Services" script different from "service httpd restart" in ssh?
Thankful

Its the same, however, when you use WHM for restart, it uses its own script to restart the services like /scripts/restartsrv_httpd or /scripts/restartsrv_mysql and many more..

When you restart a services, the configuration file reloads again with the settings, so the existing process are killed and new processes starts, either you do it from WHM or shell, a service restart is going to kill existing process and make them reload with new configuration again if or not changed.
