restarting spamassassin to recognize custom rules

    I have tried everything I can think of.. I installed 10_custom.cf in
    /usr/share/spamassassin/
    and the rules are not being recognized.. can some one help me here please?

    You can simply restart exim if you want the spamd processes to pick up ruleset changes. You can check it is using them with a debug lint test.

    never mind.. my own stpidity.. I forgot .cf on the file name!! No wonder it wouldn't read in
