I am curious how we can restart the backend/internal Apache process used by WHM. I didn't see any method to do this Googling around, mostly because results are saturated with hits for Apache on frontend.

    Hello,

cPanel does not use apache to serve the cPanel or WHM interfaces. If you need to restart cPanel, it can be done using the restartsrv_cpanel script as was provided previously.

    Thanks!

Ah thank you. Wasn't sure if there was some focal script for just WHM backend/internal Apache. That explains why it was so hard to find considering WHM doesnt use Apache at all. At the least this should show in Google now :)
