Restore 2 Part Backup

    I cant find any info on how to do this. If you know what to do to fix this please let me know. I would assume since cpanel packaged them this way it would be able to restore them as well but obviously this isnt the case. Anyway thanks for any help provided.

    The backup I have is in the form of
    backup-joeuser.tar.gz.part1
    backup-joeuser.tar.gz.part2

    Doing some searches yielded ZERO help. So I thought I would ask again.

    yeah, that should work since cpanel seems to be using the split command to split command to split the tar files.. .

    I used to use >> instead of > in the cat command..

    > should work as well.. Do post, if everything goes through fine.. :)

    Its cat file >> file2

    cat file > destin will give you duplicates, never tried it on a backup archive though
