    Hi,

I've created a new account in WHM, and i want to move this account from old cPanel to my cPanel.

In WHM i went to Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file, and entered the the username for this account to restore, Also i've uploaded the ( backup-{BACKUP-DATE_TIME}_{USER}.tar.gz) file to the account's cPanel in /home directory.

But i get the following Error:

    Restore Error
Cannot restore. That user already exists on this system

Appreciate your help to solve this.

    Hello,

Are you familiar with SSH and do you have root access over your new server? If so, run the following command from command line as root user

    /scripts/restorepkg --force <user name>

If you prefer to do it via WHM, you have to terminate the current account ( with the same user name you are trying to restore ) on the new server prior you try to restore the account.

PS. please make sure that you have proper backups when you terminate an account!

    Thank you,
    Nibin.
