restore database from virtFS

    my site was hacked, and I terminate it
    when restore the backup the database is not found (don't know why), the other users have them database

    search in the server for any old database, found it in /home/virtFS

    its show as complete database
    but I can't get it back
    is there anyway to restore it ?

    /home/virtfs is a file system for the jailshell users. You will see there hardlinks to some important binaries and libraries. This is just to provide a limited shell environment. If you have backup of your database then you can restore it from phpmyadmin or ask your host to restore the database.

    Hello :)

    You may want to try manually extracting the backup archive and reviewing the "mysql" directory to see if the database was backed up properly. The links you see in the virtfs directory are not likely to be of much help.
