    Hi Guys,

I hope I am in the right area.

I have deleted my 'default' and 'disabled' features from WHM.

    How can I rectify this?

As I am needing to enable some things that have been disabled by the 'disabled' feature, and cannot change this, as I no longer have access to the 'disabled' nor 'default' feature.

    What should I do?

    Thanks,
    Ashley

How, exactly, did you delete them? The WebHost Manager interface does not allow you to disable the default or disabled feature lists in Home » Packages » Feature Manager. It does not list them as options in the drop-down box for the Delete function.

Feature lists are stored in plain text files in /var/cpanel/features, so you should be able to simply use touch to create new empty files:

    Code:
    # cd /var/cpanel/features
    # touch disabled
    # touch default
Then, use the Edit function in Home » Packages » Feature Manager, and save each of them, so that valid data will be written to the files you just created.

If you do not have root access to the server, you will need to ask your host to do this for you.

    Thanks for the info.
