I make nightly Cpanel backups to a remote server. Now I need to restore a site. How do I do it? The CPBackup restore only looks for the backup file on the local server.

I might add that the site to be restored is a large forum and the backup file is 3GB in size and includes a large MYSQL database.

I guess the best would be to copy the file to the remove server but it is so large it would take forever.

Thanks for any help and suggestions..

    1. Login to WHM >> Transfers
    2. Click to "Copy Multiple Accounts From Another Server"
    a. Server to copy from (ip or FQDN): REMOTE_BACKUP_SERVER_IP
    b. Server root password: REMOTE_BACKUP_SERVER_PASSWORD
    c. click to "Grab Account List"
You should see all backup accounts, and you can restore from remote server.

When restoration is completed, restart BIND
Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
