    Hi Everyone,

I had a hardrive failure the other day with no warning.

I didn't have time to download a backup for one of our sites databases. Luckily I was able to copy the actual mysql files stored in var/lib/mysql .

I setup the accounts today and restored the files but half of the databases are showing the message

""Table './[DB NAME IS HERE]/forum_topics' was created with a different version of MySQL and cannot be read" "

    the other tables read fine.

Any ideas on how I can retrieve the data from the tables and then re-import it?

    Thanks in Advance!

Are you in fact running a different version of mysql after this backup was created?
I would find a box with the version you had, dump the tables.
