    Hi,

We suffered a drive failure yesterday, but it wasnt too much of a problem, simply put a fresh drive in and restored from our backups taken the day before.

    Now then....

All restored sucessfully, then restored the bits from the dirs directory (all the settings etc.) again all ok.

However... now when clients login via FTP, they cant see the folders in their root folder (i.e. public_ftp or public_html).

Ive checked this using IE and its exactly the same, apart from in IE i can put ftp://ipaddress/public_html and it shows me the files...

Ive checked the owners of all the files, and they are set correctly, and can only now think that maybe its a problem with the suid's etc....

Any thoughts? somewhere to look? really going round in circles :(
