Good afternoon, I did the following, I managed a full backup of a site in whm, created another trial server whm and restored this backup in the beginning gave some errors but was correcting and apparently the restore went well, but trying to access the site through the address:

140.200.xxx.xx/~mysite/
140.200.xxx.xx/~mysite/wp-admin

It opens in white, this site is wordpress and I don't know where to start fixing this problem. I don't know if i have problems with WHM or WORDPRESS...

Some information:

MARIADB
SUPHP
PHP56

Thank you in advance

Hello :)

Using Apache Mod_Userdir (e.g. the IP/~username URL) is not a reliable method of testing a website before the DNS propagates. Instead, you should consider updating the hosts file on your workstation to verify if the website loads correctly on the new server. We document how to do this on the link below:

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you.

I got, come on, two things,

1) The blank screen when opening the site

The system when it has a problem with PHP it displays the site blank so as not to appear sensitive data regarding its installation. In this case just go to the wordpress error log and check the problem, in my case it was an error with the maximum memory limit set for PHP that needed to be increased.

2) I could not test wp-admin because clicking on the domain opened the old server.

In this case I used the cPanelMichael friend tip, just change the hosts and everything worked out.

A curiosity:

How I sought to backup a server I did not know the login and password of the wordpres panel I had to reset the wpadmin account password

following this tutorial: https: //www.youtube.com/watch? v = 2l7HDZDYHmA

Thank you all for your help
