    Hello,

I have a Full Backup generated by cpanel. My server is down so I need to transfer hosts. All I have is this backup. Can anyone tell me what I need to do?

    Thank you.

    hi tttime,
you will need to get another server (PM Me if you need a good temporary hosting solution), then all you will need is for the sys admin to restore that account for you (I am unsure whether you are a sysadmin or just an end user so I do apologise).
But if you have the full backup, just FTP it to another account on the new server and then have the sysadmin run a cpanel restore.

(also was unsure whether this was for a single account or multiple).
    Cheers

    Thanks Nerdzoll!

I am an end user. Also, it is for one account but it is a forum that includes a database. So basically I just sign up for a new host, point my domain and FTP it anywhere on the new server? I am interested in a good temporary hosting solution (i will PM you on this point).

    Thanks
