    Hi Guys,

I lost the primary HDD in a server today and I am currently in the process of restoring the backups, but I am having an issue.

Before main HDD died, all backups were being saved to /backup via the WHM backup manager. Was able to restore as needed etc. without issue.

Now that I have a new HDD and new OS/CPanel I need to restore the backups. I have mounted the backup drive back to /backup and configured WHM backups to be restore only and pointed it to /backup.

Now my problem, WHM is not seeing the backups to allow for them to be restored, can someone point me in the direction in what to do next?

    Thanks!

Backup drive will umount when not in use. Are you sure it's mounted?

    Hi Guys,

The CPanel support team got me all setup, the issue was I had been using incremental backups before the death of the system and afterward, I did not have that ticked off in the backup config.

So lesson learned, make sure you remember you settings:D

    Thanks for the help!
