    Howdy,
I just made a dumb mistake and wiped my root crontab. Do any of you have any ideas as to how to restore the cPanel crontabs, including the ones made by mailman?
Thanks a lot for the help.

    Regards,
    Erek Dyskant

For the future, it's a good idea to make a little script to nab a copy whenever you make a change in root crontab.

    script contains only:

    crontab -l

    call it like this:

    script-to-save-crontab-info > crontab-contents-20030616

It's pretty easy to wipe crontab. So having a copy before editing is a good idea. Now it's pretty likely this is obvious to you, but I add it here just in case it's not, and also to provide something useful for any newbies who search on this topic. This was big news to me not long ago, so maybe somebody might find it useful.
