Can someone tell me the steps in restoring a newly installed Cpanel/WHM server to exactly how it was on an old HD with it installed? What folders and files need to be copied over to the new installation from the old HD that would preserve the accounts, databases, settings, etc?

I saw some tutorials online, however they were pretty old and I'm worried if cpanel has changed the way their panel operates with all the updates they recently rolled out.

    Thanks

You don't restore cPanel, you restore backups of the accounts you manage with cPanel. Do you have backups of the accounts?
