    Hi,

Ive had a look but cant see any straight forward answers, so please could someone help?

We need to restore email for one specific folder from last nights back up. Is this possible? And if so how?

    Hello :),

You have root access of your server so you can restore your mail account sub folder through command line.

If you have backup in .tar.gz format, then first of all you will have to extract that backup file and rsync your directory which you want to restore from backup to user mail directory.

    Hello :)

The following document explains where email data is stored, so you can manually extract the data and move it to the correct location:

Manual migrations to cPanel from unsupported control panels

Ensure ownership and permission values on the files match other mail folders stored under the account.

    Thank you.
