Hey all,

My server was recently hosed and I am currently having a new drive put in with a fresh OS/cPanel reload. I am having my host leave the old drive in so I can access all the data and attempt to restore all my sites, databases, etc.

I found the following thread that deals with this issue:

http://forum.ev1servers.net/showthread.php?t=38797&pp=25

I was wondering if there was anything else I should do or look into to make sure everything works correctly. Will the instructions in the above thread be enough to get all the sites back up and running (with databases)?

Also, I'll need to restore the messages in my squirrelmail for a couple of sites. Is this possible? Are they just stored in a /home/sitename subdirectory?

Any tips on this situation would be very appreciated so I can get things up and running as smoothly as possible.

Thanks everyone.

The vast majority of instructions given in forums are as is, although they are good and you shouldn't have a problem, but proceed at your own risk.

Following the instructions in EV1 forum, will help you restore every thing, including email.
