After a problem with an APC unit, which cut the power, one of our servers will not boot any longer. To cut a long story short, it turns out the hard drive has gone completely awol (no pun intended).
Anyway, there is a second drive in the server (/home2), which is used by CPanel to make nighthly, weekly and monthly backups. The people at the data center are now swapping out the fried drive, and putting in a new one with a freshly installed copy of RedHat 7.3.
What is the best and quickest way to restore all accounts from the CPanel backups?
