After a problem with an APC unit, which cut the power, one of our servers will not boot any longer. To cut a long story short, it turns out the hard drive has gone completely awol (no pun intended).

Anyway, there is a second drive in the server (/home2), which is used by CPanel to make nighthly, weekly and monthly backups. The people at the data center are now swapping out the fried drive, and putting in a new one with a freshly installed copy of RedHat 7.3.

What is the best and quickest way to restore all accounts from the CPanel backups?

I've asked this myself, and the only way to do it is to restore each account manually.. I don't know why they don't have a restore all function :(
