Restoring Problem from Full Backup Of Home Directory

HI,
I am facing problem regarding restoring backup from home directory. I get the backup downloaded on my PC via CP panal option, and when i want the file to be restored, it doesnt unzip the files in their respective directories, is there any solution for it within CP or manually..
