Does nayone know of a good-ish 'How-To' for the best way of restoring customers sites, DB's etc ?

Basically, one of my boxes got caught out with the Tornkit backdoor loophole.

The DC are going to restore the OS on the box to a new, secure state but I wondered the best way to restore my clients sites after I've installed a firewall, etc.

I have a copy of the backup files (in tar.gz format) on my own PC, so I assume the first thing is to upload that to the box when it is 'fixed'.

All help appreciated (yes, I AM a newbie to all this!!).
