I currently have my server running PHP4 as a CGI with phpsuexec, but want to offer PHP5 as a module to a few trusted customers.

Does anyone know if there is a good solution for this? The problem being only offering mod php5 to only a handful of vhosts.

I think that the following would work:

Change global AllowOverride to all but FileInfo, this will disallow AddType and AddHandler in .htaccess files. Then AddHandler for php5 into individual vhosts as required.

Or is there another solution, short of running another Apache daemon for those domains?
