I am thinking of starting a free forum host and i would like to give my members access to the cpanel file manager but no other aspects of cpanel such as stats, email, databases etc.

Is this possible using either WHM or a php script?

Just a quick note, disabling features from the package manager will not remove those features, it'll simply hide them. for example, if you removed Horde from your forum package and someone tried 'http://www.DomainName.com:2095/horde/index.php' .. he'll get there :)

So, If security is an issue for you .. simply don't do it.

    Just my 2 cents
