Hi all,
I realise there are multiple posts on this, however I'm hoping I might be able to gain some more support. I've followed all the suggested fixes to this, but seem to have now made my issue worse.
All incoming mail is being received fine, however all outgoing emails are bouncing with the below error :
"retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period"
I've tried forcing exim to send the mail queue using "exim -qff" and "exim -qqff". But this didn't fix the issue. I've also read in multiple forums that the exim retry database could be corrupt so to use the below command :
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers,
John

However, now I've used this the issue is worse. I've sent a few test emails and now in the mail queue the emails are recipient "unknown" and sitting "in progress".cd /var/spool/exim/db
rm -f retry retry.lockfile
rm -f wait-remote_smtp wait-remote_smtp.lockfile
service exim restart
Any advice much appreciated.
