    Please anyone know anything about this ?

    There's 2 issues:

    1. all mails being sent where theres no correct mail address is converted to the hostname and this also happens when a php script etc send out mail.

    2. The Return_path value in the message source list:
    username@hostname instead of correct email@adress.com
    just as it say in reply to.

    I have resellers complaining some because our domain
    is visible in the source and in all the PHP/CGI mail programs sending out mails withour correct sender.

    I have search and serach here and google etc but can't find a solution to this. Something about "rewrite" might fix it...

    Regards Jeroman

    There is a fix for that... for the Return_path

    add the following line to exim.conf
    untrusted_set_sender = *@+local_domains

    This will allow -femail@domain.ext in the mail command, to set it. ( but it will only allow it to be set if the domain is in the local_domains list, so it can not be set to something other than one hosted on your server )

    Good luck with it.
