SOLVED Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner

Hello , i have two domains on my server , i have one ip which is "162.144.xxx.xxx"
when i do test at mxtoolbox.com i get "Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner" for both domains , i dont understand where is the problem

You may also want to verify the message isn't a false positive. Do you receive the same result from MXToolBox when temporarily disabling "Introduce a delay into the SMTP transaction for unknown hosts and messages detected as spam" in "WHM >> Exim Configuration Manager"?

Hello, i just disabled it and no more errors when do test at MXToolBox , should i keep it off ?

No, I recommend leaving the option enabled since it's only leading to a false positive at the MXToolBox website. It's an issue with their website's test.

@pradeep kumar - it's best to make a new thread for maximum visibility of your issues.

I would recommend running "dig -x 1.2.3.4" to manually check the reverse DNS, where "1.2.3.4" is your server's IP address. This will show you what is configured for the reverse DNS for that IP, which normally maps back to the hostname of the server, as that shows up in all email headers.
