Reverse DNS Entry

    When I search from many DNS software it show that my server does not have reverse DNS and below is the message:

    xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx has no reverse DNS entry; some mail servers may not accept your mail.

    How to setup reserve DNS the server

    Indeed. Unless you own the IP netblock so far as ARIN/RIPE/APNIC are concerned, you need to have your datacenter setup rDNS PTR records for each IP address unless the owner has delegated authority for the IP addresses to you.

    We do not own the datacentre, but we own the server and rented a space from data centre to put our server there. IP address is provided by data centre.

    Is this the case I will contact the data centre to setup for me. Thank you so much for your advise.
