My hosting provider will assign me revDNS authority for all my IPs. I need to know if cPanel will take care of the reverse DNS mappings for my vhosts automatically when i set up new accounts, either name or ip based. (I am aware that name based have to be based on a fully qualified domain i am responsible for) To date any IRC related functions return either just the IP of the persons account or the primary IP for the server rather than the host name. I assume this is due to having no reverse DNS mappings in place. The IP and name based websites work fine, however. I also need to know what if anything I need to change in cPanel if I take primary revDNS authority over. Any help is greatly appreciated.
