I've been having problems with domains on my box resolving. When I did a reverse-DNS lookup on the two IPs on my box that are nameservers, I get the following result:

    a.b.c.d PTR record: unassigned-a-b-c-d.isp.tld. [TTL 3600s] [A=a.b.c.d]

Where a.b.c.d is the IP address I put in.

I want it to come back with ns1.mydomain.com. Do I have to contact my bandwidth provider to make the change or is there something I should edit in cPanel or on my server?

    Thanks,
    Senor

Assuming they do not, then what are my options?

    Go on, have a guess
In that case, you have to ask them to kindly set the rDNS for you.
